Frances


Frances trained at Stella Mann College of Performing Arts, specialising in jazz and musical theatre, alongside contemporary and commercial. These styles all influence her versatile and dynamic approach to movement.

Following her training, Frances transitioned into choreographing and movement directing musicals in Cambridge, building a reputation for creating innovative, story-driven choreography. Recent credits include The Producers, Guys and Dolls, Amélie, Hadestown: Teen Edition, and Come From Away.

As a teacher, Frances focuses on building strong technical foundations with an emphasis on alignment and athleticism, helping you unlock that Broadway style. Frances encourages dancers to connect movement to musicality whilst developing their performance skills and physical characterisation, creating an emotive cocktail of narrative and music. Through energetic and supportive classes Frances inspires students to develop not only with their technique but also artistry, expression, and confidence in discovering their own unique voice through dance.

Helen


Helen trained at The Collaborative Arts Project (CAP21) in New York City, specialising in audition technique, mix-belt technique, repertoire, and Musical Theatre as a Business.

Her professional credits include West Side Story, Les Misérables in Concert, Cats (Jemima), Urinetown, Aladdin, Peter Pan (Tinkerbell), and Legally Blonde The Musical, where she played Brooke Wyndham and served as Dance Captain on the national tour. She also performed all female roles in Starlight Express, including the lead role of Pearl.

Helen appears in the feature film Chalet Girl and has worked with the BBC, ITV, and Nickelodeon. She is a featured vocalist with Pipe Dream Theatre.

After returning to Starlight Express before having her daughter in 2022, Helen transitioned into directing and choreography. Recent directing credits include 9 to 5: The Musical and Legally Blonde The Musical at the Cambridge Arts Theatre.
