Whether you’re a beginner, deciphering the difference between vrksasana (tree) and sirshasana (headstand) or an advanced yogi who can put both feet behind their head, the Jivamukti Open class welcomes you, as it is open to practitioners of all levels. You work at your own pace, following the teacher’s verbal as well as hands-on guidance.

Jivamukti Yoga Flow - With Andrea
Andrea
Andrea has been dedicated to the study of yoga since her twenties and has been teaching since 2000.
An Advanced Jivamukti Yoga teacher, she has studied directly with Sharon Gannon and David Life since 2005. She serves as a mentor on the Jivamukti Teacher Training Faculty, teaching at the Jivamukti schools across Europe.
Since beginning her Yin Yoga journey in 2004, Andrea has completed Level 2 Yin Yoga training with Sarah Powers. She is also certified in Restorative Yoga, having trained with Judith Hanson Lasater, and completed the Mindfulness Teacher Training programme developed by Michael Stone in 2020.
Andrea leads workshops, trainings, and retreats throughout the UK and internationally. Her teaching style blends depth and insight with storytelling, humour, and a sense of ease, creating a welcoming and inspiring space for students of all backgrounds.
In 2024, Andrea became Programme Director of the new Jivamukti Yoga Cambridge school in the UK. She mentors students on the 500-hour Apprenticeship Programme and facilitates the 75-hour Foundation Course, helping to guide the next generation of yoga teachers.
Often described as a “teacher's teacher," Andrea is known for her authenticity, generosity, and ability to make yoga accessible to everyone whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time or deepening an established practice, she welcomes all with warmth and encouragement.

Absolutely! Our classes are for everyone, whether you’re just starting out or have been practicing for years. Andrea offer gentle guidance and modifications to make sure everyone feels comfortable and supported.

Not at all! Yoga is for every body, no matter your current flexibility. Classes focus on gentle stretching, strength, and mindfulness, and you’ll be encouraged to move at your own pace.

Come in comfortable, stretchy clothes that let you move freely. Layers are great too, so you can stay cozy or cool as the class warms up.

If you have your own, feel free to bring it, but don’t worry if you don’t! We have a number of mats available at the studio, so you can just come along and give it a try.

Bookings are required in advance to guarantee your place, as spots may be limited.

No need to bring anything. We provide all the props you might need, like blocks, cushions and bolsters, so you can focus entirely on your practice.

We’ve got you covered with herbal teas and other refreshments, but you’re welcome to bring your own water bottle if you’d like.
